The Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor is a reliable and corrosion-resistant module designed to measure soil moisture levels using capacitive sensing technology. It features an onboard voltage regulator, allowing it to operate within a wide voltage range of 3.3V to 5.5V, making it compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. For Raspberry Pi users, an ADC converter is required for interfacing. The sensor supports the 3-pin Gravity interface and provides analog output for easy integration with Arduino and other development platforms.
To enhance response time, users can solder a 1-megaohm resistor between the GND and AOUT pins.
